Thrive OT Services was established by Leah Pollard. Leah grew up on the Central Coast and knew it was where she wanted to raise her family.
Leah graduated from University of Newcastle in 2006. She is a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA. She has worked in several different areas of OT, until she found her passion working with children. She has spent the last 9 years working with children on the Central Coast to achieve their goals. Leah has 3 children and understands how difficult it can be to manage life and children.
Leah strives to use an inclusive and acceptance framework in her practice, working from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective. Understanding that neurodivergent people have different lived experiences and this informs her practice. She values that children, young people and their families are the experts in their own experiences and takes the time to listen and hear their stories.
