Who is THrive OT
Thrive OT Services is based on the South end of the Central Coast NSW and provides Occupational Therapy support to children and young people aged 0-14 years. Thrive OT Services are provided within the child or young person's natural environment, including home, preschool, school or community. Telehealth services are available for those out of area.
Thrive OT was established by Leah Pollard. Leah is an experienced Occupational Therapist who has been working with kids on the Central Coast for the past 9 years.
Supports we offer
Our Occupational Therapist can support your child or young person with:
- Self-care skills: feeding differences (picky eating and ARFID), dressing, toileting, sleeping, grooming (brushing teeth, haircuts, washing/brushing hair)
- Play and social skills: supporting authentic play
- Motor planning and learning new skills
- Fine motor skills and handwriting
- Sensory processing differences
- Executive Functioning skills
- Accessing the community
- Regulation
- Assessments (including NDIS assessments)
Is Thrive OT right for you
Is your child or young person:
- An NDIS participant and funding is plan-managed or self-managed.
- Lives on the Central Coast, NSW. Telehealth services available for those out of area.
- Aged between 0-14 years

An initial session is an opportunity for Thrive and your family to meet. We go through your child's NDIS goals and discuss where you need support and what that will look like, developing Occupational Therapy goals together.

Our therapy sessions aim to achieve Occupational Therapy goals established during the initial visit. This may include visiting your child during literacy time at school to work on handwriting skills or visiting during lunchtime at home to support a feeding goal.

Thrive OT also offers short term supports. This may be helpful for families who are on waitlists or cannot currently access services, but need support now.
Over 6 sessions, supports and strategies will be developed together to work towards achieving client centered goals.
This service can be face to face or via telehealth .
